1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Taylee mobile application ("the App", "the Service") operated by URBANHARE.AI LIMITED ("we", "our", "us").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. The Service

2.1 What Taylee Does

Taylee is a family activity planning app that:

• Suggests activities tailored to your children's ages and interests
• Helps you find local venues and at-home activities
• Creates day and weekend itineraries
• Sends reminders about school holidays and planned activities
• Learns your preferences to improve recommendations over time

2.2 AI-Powered Recommendations

Taylee uses artificial intelligence to generate activity suggestions. While we strive for accuracy:

• Recommendations are suggestions only, not guarantees
• Venue information (opening hours, prices, availability) may change
• You should verify details with venues before visiting
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party information

2.3 Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues
• Circumstances beyond our control

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

To use Taylee, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be a parent or legal guardian of any children whose information you provide
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Have the authority to agree to these Terms

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

We recommend using a strong, unique password for your Taylee account.

3.3 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your family. If information changes, please update your profile promptly.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You Agree To

• Use Taylee only for its intended purpose (family activity planning)
• Provide accurate information about your children
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Comply with all applicable laws

4.2 You Agree Not To

• Create accounts for children (only adults may have accounts)
• Share your account with others
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Interfere with the App's operation or security

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Trial

New users receive a 2-week free trial with access to Plus tier features. No payment is required during the trial period.

5.2 Subscription Tiers

After your trial, you may choose from:

• Starter (£2.99 one-off) - Basic features with limited usage
• Plus (£4.99/month) - Enhanced features for regular planners
• Premium (£8.99/month) - Full features for power users
• Annual (£69.99/year) - Premium features at the best value

5.3 Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store)
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5.6 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

Taylee, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by URBANHARE.AI LIMITED and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of information you provide (family details, preferences). By using Taylee, you grant us a licence to use this information to provide and improve the Service.

6.3 Feedback

If you provide suggestions or feedback, we may use it to improve Taylee without obligation to compensate you.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 Activity Recommendations

Taylee provides suggestions based on the information you provide. We do not guarantee:

• The suitability of any activity for your family
• The accuracy of venue information (prices, hours, availability)
• The safety of any activity or venue
• That activities will meet your expectations

7.2 Third-Party Venues

We are not affiliated with venues displayed in the App. Venue information is provided for convenience only. Always verify details directly with venues.

7.3 Weather Information

Weather forecasts are provided by third-party services and may not be accurate. Plan accordingly.

7.4 No Professional Advice

Taylee does not provide medical, educational, or professional advice. If your child has specific needs, consult appropriate professionals.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 To the Maximum Extent Permitted by Law

We are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
• Actions or omissions of third-party venues
• Inaccurate venue or weather information

8.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of Taylee is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

8.3 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless URBANHARE.AI LIMITED from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms
• Your misuse of the App
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Beta Testing

10.1 Beta Features

We may offer beta features that are still in development. Beta features:

• May contain bugs or errors
• May be modified or discontinued without notice
• Are provided "as is" without warranty

10.2 Beta Tester Rewards

Beta testers who provide feedback may receive exclusive rewards, including the Galaxy theme which remains permanently unlocked on their account.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Breach these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Misuse the Service

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the App will cease
• Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• You will not be entitled to refunds for unused subscription time

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• In-app notification
• Email (if you've opted in to communications)

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and URBANHARE.AI LIMITED regarding Taylee.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

13.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

13.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor entity.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.

14.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence if you are a consumer in the UK or EU.

14.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@taylee.app. We will try to resolve the issue informally before any legal proceedings.
